Bill Michael is a senior forensic examiner with over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and digital investigations. At Digital Forensic Services, Bill specializes in computer and mobile forensics, evidence recovery, and forensic methodologies that meet the highest standards of legal admissibility.
Throughout his career, Bill has conducted thousands of investigations involving criminal activity, internal misconduct, and digital evidence disputes. His law enforcement background includes advanced certifications from the U.S. Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security, as well as recognition as a Seized Computer Evidence Recovery Specialist. Bill is also certified in iOS and macOS forensics, and holds Cellebrite mobile forensics certifications that support his deep technical expertise in device acquisition and analysis.
Before joining the private sector, Bill served as an instructor for the National White-Collar Crime Center (NW3C), where he trained law enforcement officers on digital forensic techniques and best practices. His teaching experience, combined with his hands-on investigative background, makes him especially adept at presenting complex findings in a way that legal teams, courts, and clients can readily understand.
